Movie Studio Burns Down

Police Suspect Arson in Studio Fire

Fire ripped through Rod White Production Studios yesterday afternoon, destroying several sets and causing more delays for the troubled White Rod Movie.

"We lost a lot of footage, both from the new movie, plus the original masters for much of the series," notes Alexander Modowski, producer of the White Rod movie. "Even though nobody was killed, it's quite a tragedy, particularly for the fans."

Investigators say it's too early to tell if the fire was intentionally set or not. "It seems as though the sets were constructed of extremely flammable materials and so the fire burned extra hot. That will make figuring out the cause extra difficult."

This fire comes hot on the heels of an announcement by Marlon Bronson that he would NOT be appearing in the picture, due to the poor quality of its script.

The extent of the loss to the White Rod film library is not yet known but appears to be great.
